Machine Control requires accurate 3D models. To create an accurate model requires extensive knowledge of 3D surfaces called tin, dtm, triangles. This process also requires understanding the projects needs, the more detail the sites are, the more detailed the input needs to be, thus achieving the best possible surface model.

3D Ground Control has been in business since 2005
I started building 3D computer models almost as soon as machine control got started. I work closely with the owner or contractor to achieve a model that will fit the project needs.
In the beginning I worked with several of the software programmers to help develop software that would create the models and develop software that would assist staking models on project.
It is with this experience that facilitates understanding how the model interacts with the machine control. The machine can only be as accurate as the model.
